| I
am a trained telephone counselor with Care Ring, Your Crisis Line and have also trained with Relationships Australia in A Specialist Course in Couples Therapy. I have two First aid Certificates from St. John Ambulance, Victoria, one Level 2 and the other Remote Area First Aid. I have worked as a counselor for 8 years and have participated in my own psychodynamic psychotherapy for the past 11 years. I have 20 years experience in bushwalking, especially in Victoria, and have ridden horses since I was a child. I have a certificate in Group Leadership Training and have many years experience facilitating groups as well as being a participant. In the early years of my therapy, I was in a group, which provided me the unique opportunity of watching while the therapist worked with other participants. It was indeed a valuable training ground. Over the years, I have developed a more symbolic, metaphoric understanding in my life, which has led me to this juncture of combining my love of the natural environment, my training as group facilitator, and my knowledge of the psychological and emotional.
